You will be picked up from the hotel at 5:30 PM for Kemari harbor where you will be transferred to board on a traditional sail boat. It will cruise outside the Karachi harbor and stop near oyster rocks to try your luck to catch crabs. The crabs caught by you and the expert fishermen will be cooked on board with traditional style of mild spices and fried potatoes and you can have a delicious dinner and enjoy the sunset at Karachi harbor. You will be bought back to the hotel around 8:30 - 9 PM
History of this town goes back to 600 years ago, 100 km from Karachi, once Sindh's capital and a center of Islamic arts. Not to be missed is Shah Jahan's mosque a glorious example of the Moghul architecture built in 1647. Bazars of Thatta are known for hand printed fabrics, glass bangles & Sindhi embroidery work, inlaid with tiny mirrors.
Karachi's most famous landmark is a memorial to MA Jinnah the founder and first head of state of Pakistan.
This spectacular 1920's Mogul style palace was the official residence of MA Jinnah and is now a museum showcasing the history of the country.
The National museum provides an excellent insight into the history of the region.
The best places to admire these splendid monuments are Ibrahim Ismail Chundrigar Road, Zaib-un-Nissa Street and M.A. Jinnah Road. Be sure to check out Liaqat Hall on Abdullah Haroon Road.
